Running your own business is a stressful but good career and life choice. Have you ever considered the idea of starting your own business, but don't know what to do next?  During this session you will hear from two members of our chapter who started their own businesses.  They will share their experiences, challenges, and opportunities on what it takes fund and startup your own business.

Mitch Locklear is the owner of Filias Cellars along with Lisa Locklear who's family has been in the grape/wine business since 1902. They launched this endeavor in October 2014. Lisa is following in her father's footsteps as a wine maker - hence the name Filia (meaning 'daughter' in Latin or Itallian). The dry reds are coming from her father's vineyard in Lake County CA (Gregory Graham vineyard)

Tino Go is the founder of Dimensionally Yours which he began in 2015 when he needed a bookcase for a uniquely shaped corner of a room. The existing options were ugly, expensive, the wrong size, or a combination of all three. Assuming that others were having the same difficulties finding furniture that fit their homes, budget, and sense of style, Dimensionally Yours was launched with the goal of producing high quality, sustainably sourced and built furniture that fits your life perfectly.
