Please join the us for the Cleveland Chapter CPE Session: Get Your Close On: How to Speed Up the Month-End Close Process on April 29, 2021 at 05:30 PM EDT

Are you challenged by the systems you have and the time it takes to get the data you want? You're not alone.

Many smaller companies have lengthy month-end close processes with little time left for analyzing the results to help make decisions. Or the data that comes out of the month-end process is too summarized to offer insights into the operations of the business.

Maybe you don't have the manpower or money to implement costly tools or ERP systems to speed up month-end, but even the simplest systems can help, if you set them up wisely.

In this session, you'll learn how to leverage the tools you have already or change to a comparably priced better tool to get your monthly results faster and with more relevant analysis. We'll leverage my learnings from converting a 25-day close into a 5-day close over the span of 7 months in 2020 to help you identify how to streamline your own company's month-end process.

We will address real-life examples, providing tips you can take back and use in this month's month-end close!

Attendees will walk away with a tool kit for identifying the problems in their own month-end close, ideas for how to resolve those issues, and real-life examples of how to tackle changing banks, payroll providers, expense reporting systems, and charts of account without significant disruption to the daily operations of their companies.

Attendees will leave this session with tools to:

  1. Diagnose root causes for month-end close delays
  2. Identify and implement solutions for those reoccurring delays without disrupting business operations
  3. Present those solutions to get management buy-in when needed
