Event Description
Leaders need to be prepared for change. Strategic initiatives set by the board, disruptive technologies, new financial accounting standards, and other regulatory updates are all examples demonstrating that change is inevitable. How you handle change, your leadership style, and the organization’s communication all set the foundation of how your staff works toward and accepts change. Project managers are critical to achieving the objective, and leadership is critical to directing the initiatives. This session reviews the basics of project management and the necessity of change management and provides tools and techniques to use and steps to take to implement small and large changes.
After the session, attendees will be able to:
1. Define needed change and priority setting.
2. Identify tools will be shared and can be leveraged to facilitate change.
3. Discuss good and bad change management examples and ways to learn from others.
